Today is Canada Day for us canucks. A day to celebrate our nation, to spend time with family, friends, and most importantly...a day off!
I started the day with a brisk sweat provoking walk with a friend, and now I'm energized! What a great feeling! With DH at work (unfortunately, the theatre doesn't stop for holidays), and kiddies home and itching to have some fun, there won't be any writing during the day. But I hope to sneak some in this evening.
In the meantime, I'm sure the day will be filled with loads o' fun. Hope yours is too.

It's so hard to find writing time isn't it?

It is hard to squeeze in writing time, but then again I think I need to give it a higher priority in my life...not ahead of kiddies and DH, but higher than laundry and TV ;)
Have any tips on how you ensure you get your time for writing?
I found signing up for the June challenge i did forced me to squeeze in time. DH often has to work in evenings (on his computer) which helps limit my distraction from him. The kiddos are mostly in bed by 7:30. Then it's just finding the energy, ignoring the state of the house and hoping the bub doesn't want a feed or the bigger kids a hug, drink, toilet....
